These wool pellets make a fantastic soil additive for your garden, or raised bed. These pellets are made out of the “waste wool” generated each year at searing time; this wool is removed (skirted) from the rest of the fleece for being too short, damaged or soiled for use in our quilts and other wool products.

Our wool pellets are sustainable and environmentally friendly. Each pellet can retain 20% their weight in water in order to help reduce the amount and frequency you need to water. This is especially handy due to our sandy, well draining soil. As the pellets naturally bio-degrade they act as a slow release fertilizer.
